The development dilemma addresses the compulsion for the so-called Second and Third Worlds to grow and prosper only through sustainable development. Sustainable development is defined as improving living standards without sacrificing environmental integrity, thus allowing nations to grow with minimal impact on the environment. In the history of humanity, neither human rights nor the environment have seen such attention. Over the past fifty years, human rights on an international level have been acknowledged at unprecedented levels. The purpose of international human rights law is to protect persons and groups in the face of cruel or abusive treatment at the hands of nations, businesses, o
All those guns will keep the zombies at bay. Can't say we're not prepared.
Stupid double post, sorry!
Very illuminating! Thanks for letting me peek, however briefly, inside this world.
She's adorable, shirtless or not. Very cute picture.
Very, very cool. Great to see the mighty warrior return to his beautiful family. All my best to the Stone bunch.
I hear more balanced reporting from the North Korean news service.
There will be another Gonzales - this time it will be the other half of the country's turn to swallow it all hook, line, and sinker. Of course there will. There are many bodies strewn alongside the road of governmental politics. This is the latest. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgC
Guess what? I WAS CORRECT! To the tune of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game": So let's root, root, root for jihadists... if they don't win, it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes you're out for the old ball game!
I will never go back to pre-DVR days. It is an essential tool -- not just for paused playback (which was made for football games) but the ability to record at any time, any channel, one-button convenience. I can preprogram the DVR to find episodes of my favorite shows and it'll record them without me even knowing they're on. Too cool for school.
It has NOTHING to do with better intelligence or better information. No Bush does not have better information he just ignores most of the facts because they show his policies have failed. Keep telling yourself that. It's how you sleep at night.
Deep calming breaths. Deep calming breaths. As you strangle the clerk... The deep calming breaths are for the clerk: lay back and let the darkness come.
Just another Bush betrayal, but certainly no worse than what the Dems would do Agreed. This would have happened whether an elephant or ass were in the White House.
the Surge is Working when the facts say the opposite. Yes in Al Anbar Province the violence is much better but in the north and south the violence is much worse. You know, maybe... just maybe GWB has access to better intel than you have. But doesn't matter... as long as it's good news from Ir
This reminds me of the scene from "Airplane!" where the opinionated guy comes on and says... "They bought their tickets... let 'em crash!"
You! Yes, you. I'm talking to you. Did you get in on the low, low interest rates a couple of years ago by taking out a home loan? Are you the one who borrowed far more than your credit or your income would allow? This is your signature I see on those contracts and mortgage forms. You did sign those the papers of your own free
The state did not release its data, but local jurisdictions reported that overall pass rates on the test for the Class of 2009 ranged from about two-thirds in Prince George's County to higher than 80 percent in Howard County. I don't remember who said it, but school bus drivers are held to higher standa
I'm guessing you're not a parent...I just can't see how anyone with children could get entertainment out of this sort of morbidity. I'm with Angela Marie. This stuff is not worth clicking through -- it's too disturbing. With a headline like "The world's wildest birth defects!" you're adding freak-show ent
And, if I was voting in the Democratic primary as well, Barack Obama. He's the least offensive of the big three Dems.
The mighty Mitt Romney!
too often the Sky if Falling, when in fact most of the time the Sky is Climbing Good news is hard to find, it's true. I believe this shows good tidings for the future and a good report card for the world of the past few years, too.
Just look at that Miss Teen USA girl who's response to a question made even her friends wonder "what the hell did she say?" She didn't have a firm grasp of foreign relations... or even whether or not Americans own maps. Or that South Africa and Iraq are not in our educational system.
LIES!!! Heresy, I say. Just plain heresy. No, it just means I'm a Bush shill. I'm an ignorant NASCAR-watching idiot lapdog who only watches the pro-Bush propaganda on FOX News.
The economy isn't perfect, but it's very strong. Please tell me what is perfect in this world?
