Check your artifacts. I believe one allows you to use wormholes without the needed tech.
Just checked... Nice catch man... Must be one of those new artifact bonuses. I'll have to remember that one. Thanks for the heads up.

Hey yarlin, was playing a game earlier today and went through a wormhole... Problem is I hadn't researched that tech yet. Didn't even have it prepurchased in the research tree. So it seems we can fly through wormholes now with the new patch, but now no longer need the research to do it. I was playing as advent loyalist when I ran into this bug just in case this bug turns out to be faction specific. Hope this helps.
lol, yeah I did, I just found it very odd to see a kortul die with no hull and full shields.
Fair enough... Thanks for the info. I didn't realize the Kortul was that strong a ship.
What is far more? I can't download the file right now, but Starbases do not inflict much damage to a single target. If you have no other things to attack the Kortul with that sounds about right. Also the 45 shields/sec was from Diplomacy, in theory the highest now is 52 shields/second.
Actually now that I look at the stats of this particular Kortul, it claims it's shield mitigation is a whopping 72%
If you can pull off that many Level 10 Kortuls you deserve to win. I'm not seeing any issues.
Really?.... Well if a fully upgraded starbase is not meant to ever be able to drain a kortul's shields to 0 let alone a couple hundred off the top then I guess there is no problem. Seriously look at it... The fully upgraded Orky eventually wins, but never takes more than a couple hundred off the top of the Kortuls s
download the file and you'll see... He's regenerating far more than 45 a second... As I said, my fully upgraded Orky can't even take down it's shields. It only dents it and that only last for about a second before the Kortul is back to full shield... Seriously, I'm not kidding. I'm a Vasari player, so it wouldn't bother me, but other players probably don't want me rolling up in a full fleet of Kortul's right now... At this point I'd be unsto
I've found a bug. during this game I've already found 2 instances (currently fighting one now) where there's a Kortul Devastator with pretty much infinite shields. Seriously it's shields are regenerating so fast the only way to take it down is with phase missiles to bypass the shields. At the rate their regenerating, it can literally fully regenerate it's shields in about 10 seconds. This is not an exageration. It's not with every Kortul d
Currently normal. Whenever I play beta's I always start with normal and work my way up. Plus teaching a new player how to play the game.
Holy fek... I just got the destroyer of worlds achievement... I thought that wasn't supposed to be achievable until you got the DLC pack in June.
Is it just me or does it seem like the AI has lost some of it's bite with this update? Possibly since they no longer get extra funds? The resistance they're giving me since this update is considerably more subdued.
Yeah, take mine too.
Thanks Yarlin... You posted justed just as I edited :)
edit, nevermind, there it is
awesome... watching the clock now...

Possibly the new Ferrus planet type? Hmm? About what time range might we hear about a
Cool, thanks for the quick reply.
Hey Yarlen, I'm finding things both in steams achievement list and other sources online for new achievements and planet types that aren't in game. Such as Oceanic and Ferrus planets. I've also found a reference to industrialization such as the Drill Baby Drill achievement for fully industrializing a Ferrus planet. And there's another achievement for holding 10 different planet types at the same time, but the game currently only has 7 planet types.&nbs
I'm fine with most of it. It looks like a really good balance patch... There's only one change I really don't like. "Increased Vasari Starbase weapon upgrade time from 25 to 45 seconds." Really not liking that one. But the rest of them make sense to me. And the requirement for phase nodes for starbase jumps should make a lot of complainers happy finally.
You guys got shafted for this round compared to other pairings. You won't win against Max Payne 3, but good luck, though.
Yeah it's a real shame, because Max Payne 3 is a crap game. It's not even a proper Max Payne game. It's terrible when compared to the previous Max Payne games. And I was a huge fan of the previous Max Payne's. Sins is a much better game in pretty much every respect.
Not a problem at all. Keep an eye out on steam. You might get a good deal. I don't like gamestop either, so I completely understand that you don't want it anywhere on your computer. Or you could do what I did at one point until I got my steam copy. Install gamestop, download, install and update sins and the expansions. Then uninstall gamestop. Remember, Sins (even if bought on impulse) only requires impulse to activate and download updates.&nb

I finally get the money to get Rebellion and I was almost sick at the idea of having to pay Gamestop a single penny since I bought the original game and expansions pre-Trinity off impulse, and was actually worried I wouldn't be able to play Rebellion if I just bought it from your store. This post means I can finally uninstall that abomination from my computer and never look back. While it may be unfortunate that I cant br
K, I've completed a game on hard where I got constantly pelted with pirates the whole match. Not complaining as I actually like that because I play was playing as Vasari. I see it as my free paycheck every time they attack me. I often use the pirates to supplement my economy during games. Well during this game, I killed over 2000 pirates. I then noticed I didn't get the "Pirate Exterminator" achievement. Thinking I had done something wrong I loaded
