First game in 1.7 and 33 turns in got a faded out turn end button. But that isn't the funniest part, my main city looks like it is mine right colors, selectable, changeable(can change build orders for troops), but the city name is no longer mine, the city hud shows as another player's and has the same name has one of his cities. Got a screen shot of it and a saved game as well, sadly the save game when loaded shows the city to be back in my hands. I also have the debug.err f

I am going to make a suggestion, why not make it so that research is tied to what improvements you build? Say I build a barracks and that improvement gives points to general warfare/armor/weapons/... General kingdom upgrades/tech would be based on how many people/cities. It would require giving very basic starter buildings to everyone at the start or making sure that the basic improvements are low on the civ tree. Another idea would be throwing in a random research ran
I can easily see this feature taking a lions share of beta to iron out. I do hope this feature gets put in easily and is easy to understand but I can see this getting really complicated really fast. But I shall hope for the best.
I like 2 quite a bit, save for the thatch roofs they are too bright.
Now that is quite interesting. A fully fleshed out story for a stratagy game, kinda reminds me of the golden age of video games. Can't wait to see the story and the game.
Any hint what it might be about?
'Why We Believe in Gods' I found it quite interesting. The Dr. giveing the talk appears in the current Discover Magazine.
I have a little video link I would like to give to all of you. I find it quite interesting, it is just under an hour in length. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liMmvu9eMrg , I hope some of you find it as interesting as I did.
So my friend just saw Atheist on my Facebook profile and we had a huge conversation about it on AIM and I think she doesn't want to be my friend anymore....
well now that thats out of the way now my problem is what excetly do i do to get the archive to install?
After you move the archive to your computer, you need to make sure you have impluse installed on your computer and logged in, then click the blue orb and click Restore Archive. Select the archive you want to restore and Impulse will install the program and you will be ready to go. The only rub is that
So it should show in the pre-release section of my games in Impulse? Because it doesn't. How will I know for sure that it autolinked the accounts? I would just like to know because I really want in to Beta 2 and I don't wanna miss out because I didn't take care of this. Thanks for the help
Beta 2 hasn't started just yet. When it does you will get an email telling you that your credit card has been charged and it
Plus the fact the basic idea was used around 24 years ago, this patent took such a long time to go through that it should be concidered invaild anyways.
I will agree with the aparent cause as well, but for me it wasn't just the giants getting stuck the catapult things and the priests were stuck on top of each other. I at least saw 4 catapult tails, two priest staffs and I think two giants all combined at the first turn from the base. It was funny, until the slow down got to the point that it wasn't funny any more.
As this is Beta 1 and frogboy said it was to make sure it worked and installed correctly I have found an install problem. Download is Invaild is what Impulse is telling me. Not by a long shot there are at least 2 more people. :) Or is it one person and a cute furry thing? Questions questions, with few answers.
Some of the game's ideas are pretty interesting, however it has one glaring problem, substandard UI and a lack of widescreen resolutions. The graphics are poor but are no where near as bad as the UI. If this game had been released about 10 years ago it would have been a good game, however UI standards and screen resolutions have come a long way since then. Is it to much to ask for a UI to take up MORE then ~10% of your screen to at least be understandable. I couldn't e
I've got that, but it doesn't check grammar, sadly.
I thought all cute furry things were great with grammar.
I agree it would be nice. But not required. Remember they are indie.
I believe the scouts have that ablity.

Turn off auto-archive, manually archive and then update. That should work.
But now I cant seem to get 1.1bDoes it have something to do with the fact that I have 1.09b installed?
As far as I can tell, and this is coming from a user only, the only beta is the 1.09b. Which is completely in line with Ironclads pervious betas. So your not missing anything, however I would check impulse tomorrow just to make sure there is not an updated beta patch out. Now Wallness, I would suggest contacting stardock support.
As far as of right now (0240CT 8/8/8) the newest version is still the beta. If you want to try the beta just click on the stardock icon and select "show pre-release versions". After that you should see it available. If you don't want to try the beta well you will just have to sit tight for a bit longer.
I am assuming you have installed Impulse. Did you put your registeration into impluse for GCII? If not, register your game in Impulse and you can update the game through it. Just click on the highlighted Update tab after you register GC2, click on the game, then click on the update button on the right hand side.
Lets see if I can help. First off I am going to assume that you don't know that you can build a free Capital ship. So with that in mind, when you start your next game, build a cap factory and get your free ship first. While you are building that get your mines queued up to be built. After that, I usually send 2 scouts out on auto explore. Just right click on the button. Next I figure out which world/s I am going to take over first. I send my cap and 2-4 combat frigates to take care of the
It was said that it would be cleaned up and then posted. So later on tonight or early tomorrow I would say.
