Interesting way to make animations for windowblinds ... if you have flash and GIF movie gear. in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

Stumbled on a real easy way to make animations... Knock something up in flash or if you suck at flash like me, cheat and use SWiSH and then export it as an avi, import the avi into GIF movie gear, and you can save it as a .bmp filmstrip of static images (Just like skinstudio uses) neat that these programs seem to work together so well.

Don't join a fraternity your freshman year. Live with as many roomates as you can in your first semester. They could end up your best freinds through college. Walk up and introduce yourself to each of your professors the first day of classes. (It helps alot, don't ask me why.)

No such thing. StyleXP doesn not have its own format. StyleXP is nothing more than a GUI for applying microsoft themes. .msstyles are amicrosoft format and require a questionably legal hack to your system (available for free). Anythings possible but don't hold you're breath.

My suggestion is that you only rate skins that artists submit to the skin review... then people really can't get mad... hell they asked for it. (This may allready be the plan, I just read the 1st post)

Suggestion... I'm pretty sure that the people at stardock will know what a wikki is, but since there are so many little things you need to know about WB skinning (such as the weird trick with animating the start menu having non-divisable frames in the graphic) would a user-editable WB help file sorted by products... like WB and DX and then further sorted into sections like taskbar, toolbar icons, and such be a good idea?
