i have a website, and have pages that show quicktime movies i created.. i only noticed this problem because two seperate friends using IE told me they got bored looking at the same video...i always use firefox so never knew there was a problem... you can select from one page any one of six different movies, and then you are taken to the next page to watch the movie. everything works fine when viewing with Firefox, i can watc

you can also do it without IP, using regedit :- 1. Start regedit. 2. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile 3. Delete the IsShortcut registry value. 4. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile 5. it looks like when you install the prog, it is set, by default, not to share your files, so no excluding needed... been playing with it for a little while now, and it is actually a pretty cool sidebar..shame you can't skin it though

i'm using WB5 with danilloOc's Anion skin without any problems, which is a skin for version 4.6 and up of WB, but it is not an exclusive WB 5 skin, and has no built in transparency...it may be that this is a problem with WB5 skins...have you tried using an older WB skin?...i know this doesn't help, but it may help narrow the problem down
I have a few on here. ...me too here's my extension list... i have no probelms running all these, so if you have others, try disabling one by
running fine on my machine, ati 9600 mobility and latest WB ..not seeing the FF window go black either..it could be a FF extension conflict?, or try using another skin with FF
to see where it fits in, open the Anion skin in SKS, then navigate to the Throbber seciotn in the Explorer if you look to the right you will see the file name of the Throbber you can then change the file to your own animated throbber i hope this helps
