here's an example of Windows Explorer not painting correctly:-
for a while now i have been occasionally experiencing missing parts of the active window. it happens usually when clicking between open windows, and can happned to Firefox, Thunderbird or Explorer. It's easy enough to fix, just by minimising the window then restoring it, and happens just enough to warrant this post. the missing part can occur pretty much anywhere in the open window, and varies in size an example:- <img src="
thanks for this release...much appreciated...apart from Windowblinds itself, this is my favourite and most used component of Object Desktop
in the past this problem has been caused by ZoneAlarm, with privacy settings being set too high
not here though...i have no problems on shutdown, or with shortcut labels...all seems good so far
new version !!! version 1.20.007 fixes the busy cursor problem...hurrah !!
Also, the menu is much wider than prior you should be able to just click & drag the side of the menu to resize it
I added sys tray, taskbar and clock i can reproduce this too...have narrowed it down to just adding clock and systray to get rid of the busy cursor
Cursor 'Busy' same here.... thanks very much for the update, most unexpected and most welcome new menu items seem to work fine and fantastic that my config was remembered when updating to this new
as can been seen from all these posts, something is very messed up....from a couple of re-installs of XP i had to do, which i really didn't want to do for the same reasons as you in #28....i thought it would take months to get everything back to how it was afters...and, of course, in reality, it only took a day or so, and my XP is very tweaked....it was worth it as it fixed the weird problems i had...just back up everything, re-install and forget it h
have you tried using the IE TAB extension in firefox? it uses the IE engine...if it works then your problems are solved
grab the left side of the image you do have, flip it,
what a weekend indeed... glad you are well and can tell us about your very un-boring weekend... get well soon Island Dog..plenty of ice cream and jelly for you
i've used AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic for a few years now, and it has worked fantastically, and i've never had a virus....this is an impartial link to a comparison test between the free editions of AntiVir, AVAST and AVG, and AntiVir outperforms the others...i've tried some other progs, including non-frre ones, and have alsways gone back to AnitVir, 'cos it works well, is simple to use and doesn't effect my system in any way, other than keeping it
# Windows Version + Service Pack - XP Home + SP2 + Current Hotfixes # CPU - Intel P4 3.2 Hyperthreaded # Memory - 2x512MB DDR # Monitor(s) Resolution - 1680x1050 # Graphicscard - ATI mobility Radeon 9600 64MB works great..i like the speed
my first 10 mins
it doesn't seem too bad, around 10megs with a couple of windows open, and up to about 15megs with seven...i got 1gb, so might as well use it when messing around...i would probably unload with photo or video editing...i disabled the animation in the middle...it's nice to choose the window from the taskbar, then watch the windows revolve around...it seems pretty smooth <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"
Imagine yourself at the center of a virtual loop where all the windows you use are spread out around you. Whichever window you need to view can be centered in front of you with a click of a button. Take this idea and zoom into your pc environment. With Deskloops, all the windows you have open are aligned side by side i
thanks WishX
i've noticed that the main windows of Macromedia Flash 8 does not skin when using a skin designed for WB5. the file menus are skinned and dialogue boxes such as 'File-Open' are skinned too...it's just the main window title bar and border that do not skin...i tried with several WB5 skins.. if i use a WB4.6 skin everything works correctly i'm using the latest beta version of WB WindowBlinds 5.0 System Information Report:
wow thanks GreenReaper, just discovered your plugins and they work great...what a fantastic way to search the forums...just type into FF's search box...brilliant
thanks yrag up to date now, though seems a little strange to have to download the 2.10 version of SDC, reboot, then use version SDC 2.10 to see the 2.29a.374 version...and i thought this industry was logical
i can see it:- but when i click 'Yes' it opens SDC version 2.24a[b].182 build 113 and that's it, nothing else, no update....usually SDC asks to update when opening it, but not in this case
lose the bit of boat
