Another suggestion is object dock stores the programs in the dock in ini files located in c:\documents and setting\[user name]\application data from there look for a folder called object dock or stardock and copy the files in there since they are the settings

I think u might be looking for the alienware duck that they used for an event a while back . http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=alienware%20duck&btnG=Google+Search&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi thats the google search for it in images. The 1st 4 look like something u might be looking for.

Bebi Bulma is right the fact that the machine has a wide screen will not allow you to make the resoluton change to 1280x1024 check what is the next higher resolution it might be something with 1280 as the initial number and a bigger second number so as to compensate for the wide. You also wouldnt want to change to 1280x1024 with your screen because the aspect ratios are different and things would get chrunched together or scretched and nothing would look right.
