when a game has good gameplay, (such as Sins of a Solar Empire) the price is irrelevant being that the time to download a pirated copy and struggling to make it work, isnt worth against that of simply buying/donwloading the real deal if game development studios were to focus more on making great games instead of just pushing deadlines or "graphics" .... they'd have a lot less to worry about piracy ... being that the biggest cause for such is the uncertainty of having to pay nearly $60
rejections should be taken as constructive criticism... thus pushing designers to submit better material ... which will in term, help enhance their design skills (sorry for the run on sentence) ;p as it stands now, people dont even try their best because they know that ANY design they come up with will get posted ...
I, as well, have been involved deeply into videogames since my early ages, thus lately PC gaming has been decaying fastly... One of the many reazons seem to be game quality as it has been arguemented previously, but i dont mean quality as in " quality ", graphics are excelent as well as realism ... but is that what a gamer ultimately seeks ??? i remember back in the "classic console" days, games used to be
