Okey first: of all this game is 8 or more times better than the first
Second: the Graphics are also 8 times better okey maybe not 8 times but awhole lot better.
Third: all the new things you could do in aspects of Diplomacy, Designing and so on
Fouth: The possibilty to play with the other races is great, and more graphic options in the meny
Fifth: How the solarsystem is like now i like. Not the old dull solarsystem with a star and the planets "hidden" behind it (you know what i mean)
Sixth: Your saying that there is more cutscenes and such i really hope its true
(i know you wouldn´t be lying)
Bad aspects:
First: No supernova no black holes... just so you know i sun can go supernova if "attacked" with radiation or protons whatever it is:p , Second our universe is alot older than 4,6 BILLION years... a suns lifespan is about twice that or so or i dont know but something like that? And some suns dont last even so long. so it IS possible that a sun swell up to become a Giant OR a dwarf, to go supernova, to turn into a black hole. And there is a slight chance that i "natural disaster" could wreck a planet apart. Though very unlikly there should be a chance of that happening. And other space fenomena
