Happy Chinese New Year

Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year, which this year is the Year of the Dog. I wish everyone, but especially those who observe this holiday, a very healthy and prosperous New Year.

Is skipper a Chow Chow or a Shih Tzu?

some kind of terrier - i forget which - but looks kinda like a shih tzu -- found him out on the county road one day, no one would claim him - i have since learned why

American Eskimo Mini

Nice dog. I'm thinking about an Akita, but have been thinking about it for a couple of years. A Chow Chow would be next on the list.
"Tsing Tao to all dogs" This is their year!!

WoooHooo...

SD actually, my dog is really a great dog. Thing that I think surprised me the most was how smart he actually is..Only have to teach him something once and he'll know it. I thought when I was doing the research and they said that, I thought oh come on..but, it's true.

Chow Chow's are really good dogs too. My brother has one. Only problem he has is his allerigies...seems to be allergic to everything. Actually, have to bring him to the vet to get an allgery shot every year..

I know enough about it to know that I was born in the year of the Dog, so I guess that means it will be a good year, or challenging!! Thanks!

1964 was when I was born. Surprisingly, it's the year of the Dragon.

Regardless of the site name, this is one of the better Chinese Zodiac sites. If you're into it, or just for fun, see if your personality fits your description. The Chinese Zodiac is based on the year you were born, so you need to find your "sign" first. http://www.usbridalguide.com/special/chinesehoroscopes/Dragon.htm

I was born in the year of the Rooster....

People born in the Year of the Rooster are deep thinkers, capable, and talented.
They like to be busy and are devoted beyond their capabilities and are deeply disappointed if they fail.
People born in the Rooster Year are often a bit eccentric.
They always think they are right and usually are!
They frequently are loners and though they give the outward impression of being adventurous, they are timid.
Rooster people's emotions like their fortunes, swing very high to very low. They can be selfish and too outspoken, but are always interesting and can be extremely brave. They are most compatible with Ox, Snake, and Dragon.

This is did not know.....never loooked it up before! This was fun....
