Hey SD, where would i find a tutorial for that "under glass" effect? I have the newest photoshop and i really would like to learn how to create it.

I'm not sure, brickhead. I don't have photoshop and have only read one tutorial in my life (CursorXP). ..but if you e-mail me at sleeping-dragon at comcast.net I can try to walk you through it. As long as you have an understanding of gradients (which you do by the look of your avatar), it should be easy.

Thanks, Aimzzzzz

I like the 'glass" version Bill. It gives it a little more depth.

While I got your attention....you should stop by WOM's place. It's a lot like SA in setup and many of the members seem to already be there or are showing up there. The place needs a resident dragon. Link

I kinda like the "Or". WOM, I usually can decide what I like best in any application, but with this week being filled with many decisions effecting many, many people at work, I just felt like getting a bit of feedback. ...which I do appreciate.

Thanks, Lantec. I'm a bit snakebit now, but will check it out.

I really like a glass effect, but ultimately it's up to you!

Brickhead, simply put, create the reflection shape you want in a gradient that is either white to nothing or white to gray with the white at the top. You can either select a "hard light" effect or just change the opacity from 100% to something less until it looks right. I know there are other 'more skilled' than me that might be able to say and do it better, but that's how I skin it.

That would be the only way I could ever claim that..

I like the new one, but they are both nice.

However...you need to add one of these to whichever you use.

SD - I'm liking the 'or' (right) - maybe it's my having to use a dialup accel (on low but still has an effect), but the left looks too rigid on the 'glass' - more like a window shade than 'under glass' - maybe try a 'beveled glass'?

Po' - don't make me come out of my stump.

Absolutley, Patriots. I encourage anyone who wants to use it, to help themselves. Besides, you need one for Troll Thumping Day on February 1st.
