How do I re-assign the overlay hotkey [F9]

Need to use something other than F9 to show/ide desktop objects for Outlook Compatibility

I use Outlook for email, and the F9 key is used for Send/Receive. Unfortunately, Desktop X uses F9 to bring objects to the front. The documentation says that I can double-click on the ocon in the system tray, select the overlay tab, and change it. But there is no overlay tab. Anybody know what's happening? Thanks in advance. -Scott
