Bootskin help plz.

Installing a new bootskin

Ok, i downloaded a new bootskin but when i go to unzip it so i can put it into the bootskin folder the only stuff that will unzip is the image. the system file (i think thats what it would be called) will not unzip. i can only use the peloaded ones. what am i doing wrong?

Don't unzip.It should be a bootskin document, open bootskin and import from there.

Try to rename it from .zip to .bootskin. If it doesn't auto-install contact the skin creator. Maybe he did something wrong. Which is the boot you refer to? Also maybe there is no progress bar. Not all skinners make progress bars.

this bootskin>> WindowsEvil.zip and after i renamed it i get this error. There was an error importing the skin file. Possible causes are a corrupt skin file, or a read-only skin directory. I also tried like 10 more and i get the same error on all them.

Uninstall and re-install Bootskin Program. Also check your actual WinZip program. I can't think of anything else.

ok i got it fixed. just had to dl a diff. version. ty for ur help.just a noob. DOH!!!
