Displaying "control palettes" wrong
from
Stardock Forums
Hi there,
I'm kind of new to this, just bought Object Desktop a little while ago (and on top of that I'm swedish) - so please bear (?) with me
The problem I'm having is that since the time I installed OD on my primary do-everything-on-workstation, some control palettes (or pop-up palettes if you will) are not properly shown.
For instance, one of the programs I use in my work is Pagemaker; the unresizable (!) control palette is the wrong size. It gets chopped off in the middle so I can see the top configuration options but only a couple of pixels of the lower config options.
Now then, this is what I've tried:
1. When uninstalling OD, the palette is still the wrong size.
2. When uninstalling & reinstalling PM - no change, the palette is still the wrong size.
3. When uninstalling & reinstalling Windows & PM - voila! it's working.
4. When reinstalling OD after number 3 (
) - BAM!
(not working correctly)
So I think there is something in OD that does this.
I hope someone knows what to do - cause I'm not capable of figuring this one out...
(I don't want to switch to non-OD, since the program makes me more creative
)
