YES, I'M ANGRY, I BOUGHT OBJECT DOCK PLUS AND ICON PACKAGE FOR 2 WEEKS NOW AND I'M STILL WAITING SUPPORT TO REPLY TO MY TICKET...... ASKING THEM WHAT TO DO, AFTER INSTALLIN CENTRALDOCK CAN NOT ACCESS MY ACCOUNT ON STARDOCK..... THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A NICE GIFT FOR THIS NEW YEAR... IT'S LIKELY A NIGTHMARE

On behalf of community, I do sorry on the unconvinience you have to bear.

I'M USING DEMO VERSION OF EACH APPLICATION I HAVE PAID FOR


- Go to www.stardock.com/support.asp and provide the email you have used to purchase ObjectDesktop and press Go.

- An email will be sent to the said email address.

- Check the Inbox (or Spam Box) for the email (normally mail takes about 2 minutes to approach). There you will find the links to download and the serial number(s) of Porduct(s) you have purchased -- Click/(Copy - Paste) the links and download the application(s).

-Provide the key given in the mail and install the application -- And Everything will hopefully be fine.

-DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE THE DEMO VERSIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THE FULL ONES


ASKING THEM WHAT TO DO, AFTER INSTALLIN CENTRALDOCK CAN NOT ACCESS MY ACCOUNT ON STARDOCK.

I think the problem is at your ISP's end -- What is the Internet connection you are using (DialUP, DSL, xDSL, Cable etc).

Personal Tip: Use a download manager (like Getright) to download big files from net so that in case of some glitch you can resume the download.

Hope this will lessen your anger -- !!!

I've got a ticket ( now, plen,ty opf ticket) waiting for their resply... nothing posted to my ticket from 29 december.


Sorry for shouting that wasn't against any of you, you're cool guys but as I said it was supposed to be a gift... what is it right now? Right, nothing, it still is nothing because I don't have nothing for $80 on stardock products... NOTHING.


 


I bought Stardock central, stardock plus and icon package... Still got nothing from 29 december... No body at starshit does matter about my very polite email sent to their support helpserver...


About icon package 38mb, still don't have it... It comes to near 20mb and then it stops without any reason.?.. I'm using flasget.


I don't think that it's your job to reply and find a solution to my problem... thanks for trying but that's starshit job... all I want to get now is my money back... this is for my kids... because it's still kids enjoyment all this stardock stuffs

It's perhaps not posing a particularly good example for your 'kids' to follow to refer to Stardock as 'starshit'.

A failed download of the product is more likely an ISP issue and outside of Stardock's control.
