I like Deviant Art the best also use Vlad and Digital Blasphemy as well.
Some of the best shots are at Webshots.Also check out the Walls posted
here at WC they are some of the most original ones I have found.

Deviantart has way too much crap mixed in with the good for it to really be worthwhile for me to browse. I just keep track of certain paople there. Otherwise I frequent the following:

Link Socksoff: Great nature walls.

Link Caedes: Nice variety.

Link Interfacelift: Nice stuff there.

Link Pixelgirlpresents: Great art there.

That is a start.

Everyone keeps mentioning Vlad... I personally think Vlad's work is average at best. Socksoff is a good one, as is this place here, if you can get through the garbage. Lots of great stuff at Deviant art too, and of course, there's my stuff...

Gotta agree with RPGFX on Vlad's stuff or a least his stick people walls. Not impressed.
All the others mentioned are good (some are new to me). I want to slip in Millameter's site Link. Another good one of you can put up with the ads Wallpaperstock Link and of course SkinArtistry has quite a few now too.

CJD, that's quite a nice site you've linked. Don't let your girlfriend catch you there.

There are probably millions of sites with walls...some better than others.

But...

ALL have some form of copyright/distribution/use terms......

Please read them...and understand them...before even THINKING of using any of them to create Logons/bootskins/etc.

And, re the latter...

If you DO use a wall from somewhere to create your upload here...provide a link to the source so that copyright release can be verified.

You are SUPPOSED to have done that yourselves....but we get stuff from Webshots often....and their TOU precludes exactly that....

I like some of Vlad's work, but the blatant branding of the walls keeps me from using them. The logo just too often interferes with icons on my desktop, looks silly.

I found a american flag wallpaper that i really liked about 8 months ago on this site. I went to go look for it again and cant find it. Does anyone know of a better way to search for it or if you know where it is? Its a american flag but its kinda got a older look to it it was a pack of a few..

I'm torn on this. I feel the way you do basically, but I gotta admit that I like some of his walls enough to overlook it and use them. Which for me is very rare. But, if I were as good as him, I would probably sign my stuff, too.

I like vector for a wallpaper and so far DA is the only site that I go to look for it...anybody knows a site that has it??

I agree on that one, but I DO have issue with his so called "Free" walls which have signatures and aren't as high quality. To get those, he wants you to pay him a range of fees. Nice work but not worth paying for, at least to me. I wish him the best of luck however.
