**Below is the original blog entitled: "I have been nominated for 0 JoeUser Awards." After posting it, I had learned (thanks to SPM) that I qualify under the "annoying" category.**

GemCityJoe had a great idea. Make a sort of "academy awards" for our blogging community. People's blogs were nominated, and now the voting is taking place.

It seems that my weblog is flying under the radar. I am nominated for nothing, yet I have reasonably good readership. (Possibly due to my non-blogging friends who read this site.)

That said: I can't imagine my blog fitting into one of those categories anyway. Maybe It'll fit into next year's awards if there are any new categories added. (Most mundane, most baby pictures, best articles about cleaning the house, most spot-on analysis of "American Idol", Least political, etc.)

Anyways... keep reading friends. I will continue to hold true to my mission. (Whatever it is...)

Maybe I can change the title of today's entry to "I am nominated for 1 JoeUser Award."

Yes I think that would be a good title, To be nominated for even 1 award is a great achievement albeit in the most annoying blogger category which I am also nominated for. I look forward to finding out which of us is most annoying to the peasants of joeuser.
