When I use the minimize all icon, is there any way to stop it from minizing Object dock as well.

any help would be appreciated

This sounds like the shareware version because I haven't had that happen with the Plus version. If it is the Plus version try setting "Lock Dock Position"

Try pressing winkey+m instead--that actually minimizes everything instead of simply painting over open windows with your background. winkey+shift+m brings everything back. OD stays put when I do it that way.

Would that be the "Show Desktop" icon? If so, then listen to j dott.
But if you would rather have an icon you can do this....

Copy and paste the following into a text file and save it as ToggleDesktop.vbs. Then create a new shortcut linked to this file.

Set Shell = CreateObject ("Shell.Application")
Shell.ToggleDesktop
Set Shell = Nothing

Im sorry for bumpin this thread, but the tip Koasati mentions here doesnt work for me Still minimizes objectdock :/ Anyone got another solution...?

go through the options in Odock - there's one in the to leave Odock alone when winkey+m is pressed --- but it only works if the dock is set to either always be on top or always on bottom
