Though I've just submited a few icons to the ObjectDock skin area, I've been a visiter and registered user of WC for a long time. One thing easy to see is, there are too many icons for the "famous" programs, like Photoshop, Winamp, WMP... As I know, a lot of people use many other programs on their PC, and they can't find their OD icons anywhere, as well as they do not know how to create one themselves (as in my case before).
So, why don't we have an "open area" for those OD users to request for their favorite programs' icons? And those who can use graphical apps can create them. It's also a chance to improve your skills isn't it ?
I'll be the first... Any one need an icon? You can send me a screenshot of the origin icon, and I'll try to make it an OD one (128, 256, in PNG or ICO...).
Not so good in graphik, so I need the help from the pro gd!

it is only a request, i personally wish i had the artistic skill, as i would do them myself then. but since i lack the skill, i do the next best thing i can, and request it from those with the skills.

What I would request as far as icons is a little more generic. I use Icon Packager, but that program can not change all of the XP icons. Specifically I am referring to Control Panel icons and also the little tiny icons in the task area on the left pane in an open window. I use a program called Resource Hacker and manually change the Control Panel icons in their individual '.cpl' files. I also change most of the icons in shell32.dll

I realize that changing these icons is not something that everyone can, or wants to do. But I figure that if I'm going to do it, might as well go all the way. It actually is remarkably easy.

But of course a good selection of Control Panel icons is nowhere to be found. Anyway, since you asked .....

I use a paint program called Twisted Brush located at http://www.pixarra.com/. The icon for this program is a little raw. Does anyone have a better one, or can make one?

hmmm...this one looks familiar. lol.

I can do the bull, since it's mine. For the rest, whoever does them will nedd the actual 'png' file to do it. Do you have IconDevelepor? (It comes with IconPackager) If so, you can very easily do it yourself.

Yes, the bull looks familiar

The free IconDeveloper version only permits 48X48 icons and I'm not looking for to buy the program just to do this 4 icons.

If you do the bull you could also do the other 3, couldn't you?
