Buon Natale!

My wife and I have just finished our Christmas rituals. We cuddled up in front of the TV, each with a bowl of popcorn (popped on the stove might I add) to watch A Muppet's Christmas Carol. We turned out the lights, turned on the TV and enjoyed a Christmas classic by the colorful lights of our Christmas tree.

It is now 11:21pm. We are both snuggled into bed and are awaiting the sugar plumbs visions....

Merry Christmas, Jeremy! We sure miss you guys.

Tonight we're going to let the boys open a gift, ride around to look at lights, and snuggle up with some hot cocoa and Baileys (thanks for the idea, alison!) and watch It's a Wonderful Life.

Tomorrow will be little smokies and wassal! Are you guys having some of that too?

Thanks everyone!

Sis, that sounds so awesome! We usually go riding around looking at lights but, one, we don't have a car, two, eveyone lives in apartments and don't really decorate a whole lot.

Sadly, little smokies and wassal aren't readily available here (nor is the stuff to make them). We are also eating with the church members, so that should be nice.

PS - Baileys is wonderful, even Amanda likes it (but don't tell anyone, shhhhhh )
