Just wondering who's up and on JU right now. I'm an influenza insomniac for the night; every time I lay down and start to get to sleep, I cough myself awake.

I have no idea who's usually up this hour, so drop in and leave a line, say hi and the time where you are. It's just now hitting 5:00 a.m. central here, but I've been up for the last hour. Good morning.

Was fine yesterday morning. My fever broke about two or three in the morning, felt great, my sinus' were clear, went running. And then about noon or so, it hit me like a ton of bricks.

S'those frickin' pre-Ks my wife helps teach. Usually I don't pick up anything. The only way I get sick is close contact with my wife when she's ill. Sadly, she picks up everything from everybody, and an elementary school is the place to do it.

Since she started that job I've been sick more times in the last few months, than in the last six or seven years. I've almost thought about asking her to quit, just so I can stay healthy.

Been up since 5 (7 am right now, ET). The littlest one decided he wanted to wake up for a while, and my wife needs a break, so I got up with him.

I just finished watching "The Five People You Meet in Heaven." Kinda maudlin, but what did I expect from Hallmark Presents?
