If there's a Kind Stardock person out there...??

Hey all,

I have been having some problems..I wrote to Stardock support almost two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for a soloution.

1. I cannot view/add comments from my wincustomize browser.

2. My new skins are not on my personal web page, and I can't post comments to ppl that have posted them... I had to sign on through FF then, sign onto my account that way, look up my skin..This is very frustrating. Seems like I'm having more problems with the wincusomize brower than it's worth. I love all the Stardock products but, this one I have to say----is really upsetting me. I can post the e-mail I had sent with the picture of the errors I"m getting if this helps.

Did you send a 2nd request via the reply instructions in the initial 'thanks for your letter and question' email?

first time i wrote support, i didn't really read the whole letter - since it was basically a form letter. but it does include specific instructions on what to do if you don't get a real support reply.

hmmm

a while back when you wrote of this I tried mine and at first it didn't work, then it did but then when I looked in the list...it showed the increase in replies (mine, checked via FF) but when I went back to the post via WCB my reply didn't show. It was getting late, so I quit meaning to go back and then forgot.

I had a similar issue with downloads and gallery updates - so I went in deleted the .ini files and it started working again...just forgot and try that with the .ini's related to the forum and comments...

if you decided to try it...i suggest moving a copy somewhere just in case.

Six skins, but looks like two logons aren't showing, and the bootskin doesn't appear in Display options.

I'm not with Stardock support, but I have OD, and Wincustomize browser, and God knows how many skins. I have gotten the best support from here than any place on the net. AND I DO MEAN ANY PLACE. So, bear with them. They have fixed any problem I have had, which hasn't been very many, usually, within a day at the most. These are good people here. I have never said that about any other site, except maybe my ISP. Hang in there. Mellow man. Excuse me. Miss. Peace. Hippie

Thank-you Hippie...I have just found out the error is not on my end, it is a Server issue..So, hopefully, it will get fixed soon. I do remember saying that I love all they're programs, I am an advid user and promote them as often as I can.

Hi Patriots,

Though you and I have been discussing this issue since Dec.8, I had contacted the manager of development regarding this issue and had still been waiting on a response. This isn't something I'll be able to resolve directly given my position as a support technician, but since I have just contacted the WinCustomize developer directly and we should have this issue resolved soon. I apologize for the delay in this situation.

Good to hear! I've been using my SDC when I bought the WC for the browser! Oh Boy, can't wait to see what it really does!
