Windows instability

Looking for some assistance

I am finding that after a PC rebuild and a load of stardock applications, that my system is thrown into instability. Starts with Win Explorer and then gets steady worse until I have to rebuild again.

I take care of my registry
I dont have a hacked version
I can post any information required and would be gratful for advice

First rule...provide system specs.....eg Pentium 100, 8 meg EDO ram, 500k Trident Graphics...Hercules Monitor....
