VistaXP LogOff Button(s) & Vista Icons

I apologize if this has ever been answered. I've been searching the net and the forums for an answer. I couldn't find one, so I decided to post instead.

Has anyone ever found a way to fix the logoff buttons on the VistaXP theme Start Menu? It's a freakin' awesome skin other than that one little detail!

Also, has anyone ever done an IconPackager theme with the vista icons? I've found the .ico files and I've found one theme, but it was messed up, especially with respect to the folder icons. I'm looking for a good, well-rounded IP theme. One that works!

There is no fix, since the buttons are not designed to work. They are for visual eye-candy only.

Do what? What do you mean they aren't designed to work? I can see maybe that they were never gotten around to, but not that they aren't "designed to work". The standard XP Start Menu has buttons that serve this purpose. It's not like it's something new. If this were true then the only way to shut down your computer would be to Ctrl Alt Del or something like that.
So, there may be no fix as of yet. But, they are "designed to work".

I just realized the actual links are hidden. They appear when you go over the area. At least on mine they act that way. Now I can understand your meaning of them being eye candy...sorta.

I guess it depends on the point in the design process. I'm sure he started out wanting them to work. But, apparently it's not possible, so he didn't. Still an awesome skin. I'm just glad the buttons were just hidden!

is there any skin out there which does have those two as buttons..cause this one really niggles me?? and also is there anyway of getting the users image at the top of the start panel cause that would look groovy aswell..(http://www.winsupersite.com/images/showcase/vista5270_002.jpg)

iLLiTeRaTe MoNkeY If you go to Deviant Art, in the Windowblind XP download section, you will find a blind where the buttons do work. I will put a link but its removed just go check out Deviant Art..there is one there..as far as icons, Black Ice had made a set but the link is down, but I do have a link to another set of icons at Deviant Art. I will post the link here but again if the link is removed check in the Windowblinds at Deviant Art and you will find a link leading to it. Hope this helps you

It's to bad that you need IP 3.0 to use those icons. I have 2.5 for now.
