objectdock on top of tooltips

Tooltips seem to hide behind the docks. Desktop X objects did that until I set the Z-order to desktop level. I could not find any option like that in the settings of object dock. Anybody have any suggestions?
Here's an image to help.

Right click, then dock settings. Then go to positioning, and set it to whatever you want (always on bottom should match the desktop setting with DX). Normal will make it like any other app--so you can have it on top if you wish--that should also allow the tooltips to come through. I would check, but I have the tooltips shut off. Hope this helps.

I don't even see that on there. Here's what it looks like.

Humm.. this seems to be a question that a lot of people can't answer.

There may not be many people that use a tabbed dock in that manner (sitting above the Windows taskbar)....... I don't use the Window taskbar at all, so I've never seen this problem.
You're correct that tabbed docks don't have any other options for z-order, other than 'always on top'.
You're not getting any answers because no-one knows what to tell you.

oh ok, well, I wouldn't use the taskbar, but Object Dock doesn't show the startmenu the way I want, so I just use it to organize programs that are not on the desktop. But, thanks anyway.

Object Dock doesn't show the startmenu the way I want

If you want the Windows Startmenu, there are a few ways to accomplish that. I know there's at least one docklet that allows access to the startmenu, but I use a little app called PresStart, and have a dock icon that links to that.
If you want to check it out, you can find PresStart, and few other handy tools here..... http://www.tsoftcentral.com/tools/index.html
