System Hang on Login

I've tried submitting 3 tickets to Stardock to no avail - I get no response (other than an automated one telling me it might take up to 2 days for a response). Since it's been a couple of weeks since I first asked for help, I've given up there.
Perhaps someone could help me...
My system:
Dell D505 Latitude Notebook
Windows XP Pro SP2
1.7 GHz Processor, 512 MB of RAM
I use a docking station at work and extend my desktop onto a second monitor.
At home I just use the notebook's monitor.
I have installed ObjectDesktop and ObjectDock Plus.
When I either dock or undock, then reboot and login, the system hangs. I get my desktop but no taskbar, no ObjectDock, nothing.
I hit ctrl-alt-del to bring up the task manager. No applications are listing as running.
I terminate explorer as a process, then re-run it. My taskbar comes up, skinned. The items in my startup folder do not run, ObjectDock among them. When I start them normally, they work fine.
I can reboot or logout and log back in and it works fine, so long as I don't dock or undock in between.
Any suggestions?
