Problems with windows xp skin

 


Hi,


im having a problem with the shareware version of wb5


When i try to apply the windows xp style blue, silver or green skin (the ones that came with windows xp) the skin that appears is the classic. Ive tryed unloading and the problem remains. Only when i unistall the program i have acess to the windows xp style....


Is this normal?

Yes ... you will experience this with Shareware version ... you need to upgrade to full version ...

It is actually a bug ..and even the initial full version of WB 5 had it but now it has been fixed in full builds. That is why I had said that you needed to upgrade to full build

There is a bug in the shareware build on some machines where if you apply the Windows XP Style with a WB skin running from display properties it may hang & end up with classic running.

In which case the solution is to then go back to display properties & reapply the Windows XP style and it will change ok, or you could apply it from WBConfig where it will apply just fine the first time.

We will be updating the shareware release in the coming week to resolve this problem.

How do you do it from the WB config?


Double click WB system tray icon, when config opens, scroll to start of skin list.
First 2 skins listed are Windows Classic and XP Style.
