Windows trouble after install

I just installed object desktop and I've found several programs don't work correctly. Norton antivirus locks up, windows media player gives me an internal application error, and I'm unable to click certain links in internet explorer. I can't even use the restore point in windows because I get a blank page. Any help out there?

alot of these use scripts which is affected by Norton script blocking...you'll probable need turn it off if you can't get Norton to allow Object Desktop scripts.

The link was the key.  I don't know what scripts are, but that was the problem.  Thank you!!
