Introducing: Crazy Lady
Decision to go Navy

Where to start?
I am married to a wonderful navy man. Married for 4 years, He's been in the Navy only 2 years.
Never knew it would be so......well, I don't know how to put it! It's just crazy! I thought I knew what to expect... moving around a lot, not being able to find stable work....but not the things that have happened! I never would have guessed that they screw up the pay on a regular basis, and take the FULL amount back all in one big chunk instead of payments. (among other things) It was something we talked about for a couple of months, before jumping in. A deciding factor was 9-11. My husband made his mind up watching the news. I wanted a few more days....
He left on 1/7/02 on the delayed entry program. We wanted the holidays with his, very ill, mom.
All that aside, I woudn't change my decision. I chose to stand behind my husband decision to join the Navy, and I would do it again. I am VERY proud of my husband and his accomplishments. As well as his commitment to serving our country. It was a very big decision for us. We were going to give up everything we knew for this new venture. He was 25 almost 26 when he enlisted. That's considered OLD when joining! We had already started a life together, that all changed...It hasn't been the same. I never would have expected it to change this much. I didn't go in to this being naive, at least that's what I thought!!!
This is my ranting and raving place, as well as thoughts and feelings on various subjects.
