Skins not applying globally

I'm having problems with the newest version of windowblinds 5. It will let me applay any skin fine, but only skins the taskbar, startmenu, dialog boxes, and internet explorer. But it won't do any other applications like firefox, sdcentral, and etc. I'm not sure why it's not working but it's rather annoying.
