Boredom Eliminator = Aquarium Desktop
so glad I splurged out on it today

Recently I've been too easily getting bored senseless and needed a distraction that requires little thought or concentration. Hence, the Aquarium Desktop....moving images, but unlike TV, but no plot or script to follow. Crikey (Crocodile Hunter lingo), I couldn't follow the instructions on a packet of 2 minute noodles right now, much less the intricate wheelings and dealings of all the 'quality' TV being served up recently.
This happens when something annoyingly stagnates, through various 3rd parties sitting on their hands, and I'm unable to devote thought to much else. My attention span has been reduced to that of a gnat and I've been annoying the crap out of my missus, not with inane practical jokes, but with what could best be described as rather eccentric behaviour.
Earlier today, she found some handyman tools I had put away in the fridge while getting myself a drink, a bag of dry dog food in the linen cupboard because I had fed the dogs and needed a towel after washing my hands. The piesta resistance was making her a cuppa and putting both tea and coffee, in it, no sugar....and that was the last straw. She spotted the Aquarium Desktop while ensuring I correctly renewed my OD subscription: "Oh, that looks nice.", and it was mine.
Okay, so I was real wicked and spent some of the kid's pocket money, but I figured that she wasn't here anyway and probably didn't deserve it, considering.....
Besides, I needed it more!! My missus beating me with a happy stick didn't work, neither did the jolly pills, and after the spanking I got for the tea/coffee episode, I was in dire need of an enjoyment/pleasure injection....which was amply provided with my purchase.
Anyway, the Aquarium desktop is customisable, so once it was loaded, I began to play with it, constantly rearranging the fish, plants and other fish tank decorations, etc. It is quite something and I highly recommend it, so if you haven't had a 'bo peep' as yet, pop over to Stardock and check it out, it's well worth a look.....and the money.
Oh well, I'm off now to practise my angling skills.....only catch, tag and release, I promise.
