Sleeping Dragon Sleeping Dragon

What Nationality are you?

What Nationality are you?

...or are you a mutt like me?

We in the U.S. are typically a little bit of many nationalities, depending on how long ago our ancestors came over and how promiscuous they were; but whether you are a mix breed or a pure bred, let us know what nationality(s) you are.

My ancestors emigrated here 200+ years ago from Ireland and England...Oh, a little Dutch snuck in there too. I guess that makes me a Euromerican.

Just the opposite My Father's mother was Carolina Cherokee & his father Irish/Carolina Cherokee. Mother's family's American Irish/English last 7 generations.

Second generation American on my mother's side. My mother's mother was French, from a small, all-French Italian village. My mother's father was northern Italian. On my father's side it's not so clear - his family was here for several generations, but I suspect there is some Scottish blood in there.

California mutt.

Father → Indian
Mother →Indian

Hence, Me → Indian.

I think that many that are calling themselves "Indian" here in the U.S. are referring to Native Americans. Not to be confused with Himangshu and those from India

Norwegian from father's father (Farfar).
Bohemian from mother's father.
My grandmothers were American with mixed European ancestry of their own.

Well...since Tasmanians are inbred....I don't have a bloodline.....more a blood-circle...

Hey Jafo... I didn't realise you were a Taswegian! Are you a cricketer? Play at short backward square maybe?

I'm a New Zealander, both Parents being Kiwi nationals of European descent (some Scottish and Portugese way back, and some Maori on my mother's side).

However, I do share the notariety of being born in Tasmania as my folks were living and working there at the time. I even have an (expired) AU passport to go with my NZ one. And by some strange co-incidence... my Australian passport photo makes me look like a criminal
