For those of you interested, there's a really interesting analysis of the pains that Superman has had in terms of returning to the big screen.  If you think the skinning community sometimes has "issues", holy cow, you ain't seen nothing yet! ;)

Fortunately the director, Bryan Singer, looks to be moving it along quite nicely now that he is at the helm. The video blogs that Singer is doing here: http://www.bluetights.net keeps my faith in what will essentially be 'Superman 2 1/2.' The teaser trailer looks amazing with some Alex Ross inspiration that will show up in the movie.

The one things that astounds me is the possible "budget" to make this film will be around $390 million!

we had 'pirates of the caribbean II & III' being filmed on the island where i live earlier this year, and they have a budget of $500 million for the two movies !!! they have a budget of $60 million just for the sets !!! it's an insane amount fo money.....i did get to meet johnny depp, orlando bloom and keira knightley and eat some very good food on the sets !!

Citizen starkers ... feeling a bit idealistic today? It takes money to make money, and it is up to the individual person/people of this world to "resolve real issues." Do you think those in Hollywood just found all that money laying under their mattress?

Perhaps you should be involved attempting to "resolve real issues" ... (anger/bitterness about how other's money is spent is a sure sign that one is probably doing nothing themselves)

ooohhhh, ahhhhhh.... Clark and Bruce, Superman & Batman together at last. Looks like Twoface is in there as well. Though I don't know who the bad guy is in the green plastic suit.

I'm just happy they didn't cast Nicholas Cage for the role..that was a rumor I heard ooooo about 2 years ago??
