How do you hide the desktop icons using desktop x?

In this object for desktop x https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=3762&LibID=3

its says to hide the desktop icons using desktopx.  How do you do that??

p.s (it says the way to change it is from the theme tab from configuring desktop x. I went to configuring desktop but there's no theme tab)

for desktopX - right click tray icon and go to builder mode. when the helper comes up, configure desktopx & then when the configure comes up go to the desktop tab.

or prior to running the snowflakes (they are cool by the way = and yes, for desktopx), right click your desktop, arrange icons by, uncheck show desktop icons

the theme tab was from an earlier version of desktopx

cool thanks but I the snowflakes still take up alot of speed.  About an average of 50% of the cpu usage.  Any ideas on how to lower it.

P.S. I dont have builder mode for desktop x  I have version 3.0 and only have configure desktop

were you able to hide using the uncheck show icons option?

looking into the snowflakes...

need to play with/adjust the setting (count - refresh - gravity) to see what works best for you.

yes hiding the icons worked but it still takes up too much speed
