Could someone help me with a SDNet/WB5 problem, please?

Hi. I finally got around to renewing my OD Sub, and when I try to install/upgrade WB5 it completes to about 98, 99% then I get the dialog that SDC has run into a problem and will close, which it does. I upgraded several other Stardock programs without incident. It only seems to be WB5 that has run into a problem. I don't want to regret having renewed my sub because I love these programs, but I have been frustrated to the end of my wits. Can someone help me? thanks.

You might email Stardock, make sure your account is in order. Or the server might be a little busy, try again later in the evening when it seems to slow down. I have not had this problem, sorry to not be much help.

Hey Stupendous, might want to browse back through the Stardock Support section of the forum. Quite a few had problems initially downloading the Beta. You may find a quick answer there. Don't forget, the Release Version is due out on the 29th.

If I can remember correctly, the problem you describe had one of two reasons:

I think one was that StardockCentral wasn't upgraded and needed to be upgrades to the newest release.

The other one was faults in your Account settings on the Stardock Server (a problem that has to be corrected by a Stardock employee).

First, I wanna say thanks to those who offered advice on how I might fix this problem.

Second, I finally got it fixed! Yeah!!

I had to go and download the latest version of sdc, which for some reason seems to have sloooowed dooowwnn mmyyyy daaaiil-up connection. But that's another story.

Anyways, thanks again for all your suggestions.
