Hyperionics Filebox Extender Not Working in WB5

Greetings.
Not sure if this has already been fielded, so here goes.
I use a program from Hyperionics called Filebox Extender which places extra buttons next to the close & min/max buttons on the top of windows.
How this is useful is, for example, in file dialog boxes. You can have a 'favourite folders' button where the program remembers a list of folders and allows you to bring them up with just one click, instead of having to hunt through your machine's drives.
This becomes particularly relevant to me since I have a lot of hard drives and partitions.
With all skins which support transparency the buttons from FBX simply do not show up, skins which don't use any transparency at all seem to work fine. I have tried everything up to completely excluding FBX in WB5, with no success.
The buttons (the main reason I use FBX, as a file box extention tool) cannot be used in any program because they simply don't show up.
Is this a known issue or have I found something new which needs some work?
And in case someone says it, no I don't want to stop using FBX.
