WB 4.6: Taskbar (start bar) auto-hide issues

Hey all,

I've had a weird issue crop up just recently with WB 4.6 using auto-hide on my task bar (start bar). No matter which skin I apply, the taskbar won't pop back up when I mouse over one of the open programs, start button, or system tray. All I get is the balloon or tooltip with the window title in it. However, if I mouse over a blank (empty) part of the taskbar, it un-hides (pops back up) normally.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling using zapper with no luck. Any ideas?? This is really annoying....

Thanks

try unchecking autohide, apply, recheck apply - sometimes when I get hide issues that works - wakes it up or something.

just tried mine (4.6) - no issues

Considering it is a beta build, try not using the auto-hide function until final release, and post this subject in the "Windowblinds" sub-category to get the attention of one of the developers. Sorry it doesn't work to your liking. I don't use the autohide just because it never acts like I want it too and there are limited options in configuring it. In "User Overrides", there is a combobox where it says "Skin decides the taskbar size". I change this to "Small taskbar size", just to make more desktop space, but then not all skins are "Smart Small Margins" enabled, so it might make the Start button or taskbar buttons odd looking or not show icons in the system tray.

scorpio... 4.6 is not a beta. You're thinking of 4.96
