hello i'm new to this site and i wondering when i download the spawn log on screen how do i get that to appear or where do i place the file so it shows up in the log in screen

You need to install LogonStudio - click the software tab above or look in the Gallery Description of Logons, theres a link to download. Then when you download the logon, if you use Firefox it will want to open with LogonStudio or you can save it then double click.
