Too many pinned (sticky) threads?

My opinion is that too many threads are pinned (sticky) at the top of the General section. Some have good titles, but are out of date. Since threads can cycle through this section pretty fast, I would rather see more live threads, with only 2 or 3 pinned.

:D Other peeps' thoughts?

Two pinned, but four others pretending to be. Maybe a glitch? There could be a seperate section for pinned threads, but I suppose nobody would take the time to look at them, then.

Now I see-- time for an eye exam. The blue things on the icons that I thought were pencils are push-pins. So there are 2 pinned and four more stuck as if pinned. Maybe the 4 will slide away someday...

They're carry overs.

Tips For New Users (as an example) - should be pinned -- and it is. The pin is showing on the 'New Users' page.

I can't help but laugh when reading Fuzzy's posts, then look over at Mr. Spock. Most of what Fuzzy says would never come out of Spock's mouth, and that keeps me in the floor half the time.

It is illogical....as Spock would say....and this passion for chocolate is most definitely NOT Vulcan.

With regards to the 'threads', nothing on WC should be sticky.......just shampooed my monitor and polished my keyboard But yeah, seeing fewer pinned threads for more current posts would be nice.

I'm pleased someone found amusement in this. In Australia, this is known as a Bullpitism!

For those not familiar with this.......Ted Bullpit was a TV character who worshipped his Holden Kingswood car to extreeeems and would not allow it out of the garage, even, much less on the road, and certainly not by anyone else. If Ted's son, anyone suggested to borrow it.....he would say......"Kingswood....Kingswood? You're not taking the Kingswood, I...I, I......I, I just polished the steering wheel and shampooed the hubcaps!!!

Just a bit of Aussie TV trivia for ya'll
