Stardock Central download crash!

One of the last updates to SD Central has broken my downloads from the "Skins and Themes" section. As soon as I click the "Download" button on the downloads screen or double-click on an item to download it, Dr. Watson pops up with the "Stardock Central has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." and offers to send the bug report to MS. This is particularly annoying since I got the Wincustomize subscription just to be able to use this feature. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please close out of Stardock Central, download this file and extract it to your "C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral" directory. We apologize for your trouble. Please let us know if you're still experiencing problems.

I extracted the contents of the above file to "C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral". I restarted SD Central. Choosing to download a WB theme from the "Skins and Themes" section still immediately crashes the application. What should I try next?

Rebooted as well. No change. SD Central still crashes immediately on choose of "Download".

I bet you guys both are running the same firewall or anti-virus program. I've seen this before with Mcfee and Norton. Do check your fiewall and anti-virus settings. I've been using sdc and wc browser here for a long time with no problems. Except when I had those firewall and/or av programs running. I now use a router and a hardwall with avg - thus a lot less problems here.
That or Mike will for sure figure it out for you soon tho

No firewall. Have Symantec AV. My debugger sez the problem is an unhandled exception trying to read a particular memory location.
