GOD IS PUNISHING AMERICA

GOD IS PUNISHING AMERICA

Christians are supposed to follow Christ. Christ said that we are to live by every word of God. That includes the Old Testament and New Testament. Christians today talk about Christ, but they reject His message. It would seem these days that most so-called Christians are biblical illiterates.

God's Word contains countless warnings about evil nations being destroyed in the end times. God is bringing disasters upon us--like the hurricanes--to get us to change our evil ways. The Bible is filled with warnings of God's wrath and fury at the time of the end.

It seems that the United States is rapidly becoming one of the most sinful nations in history. All the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah are increasing at an alarming rate in America today. The most vile sins imaginable are becoming mainstream. If God killed all the people of Sodom for their evil ways, then why would he not punish us as well? God is not about to remain silent!

God has always protected America. But he is not protecting us anymore. God himself is bringing more terror and destruction upon us than any Islamic terrorists could ever do. Why? Because we lead the world in evil--in every major pathology!

Actually, God was very merciful with hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma. America's oil production was only slightly damaged in these hurricanes. What if the oil rigs and refineries had been completely destroyed as some authorities expected to happen? Then America's economy would have collapsed and might never have recovered! It would have caused a total oil crisis in the United States and we all know how bad the oil crunch is even now.

America and the world are only one deadly hurricane away, one major terrorist attack away or a Middle East war away, from an energy Armageddon. In these hurricanes God extended mercy, giving us a chance to change our evil ways.

When we heed God's warning, God's wrath and anger will stop. But if we don't heed, Bible prophecy clearly outlines what our end will be. And that end will be more death and destruction than all the wars of history combined.

I have it from the big man himself that he will halt the fault if people change for the better.

I'm sorry my friend but our beliefs are not inline with each other. If you want to think that you are some kind of messenger than more power to you. Nothing wrong with changing minds for the better. But it's gonna take more than just a simple " I know even though I can't prove it to you" idea to convince me that every tremor, every storm, every wild fire and every heat wave is somehow Gods way of punishing us for not following his way. I would be pretty tired by now of trying to show the way and getting no results.

I believe in God, I just don't think he does the things you say. I believe he is just waiting for our time to come and then judge us by the life we lived as oppose to trying to make us change directly. That's what people like you are for, to help those who need guidence, a way for humans to understand. Storms don't have any messeges, people do. JMO.

So God knew the fags were going to end up there & pre-position the fault just in case he needed it.

YOU PEOPLE MUST READ THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS. JESUS IS GOING TO PUNISH ALL OF MANKIND. THE REVELATION IS FOR THE END TIMES. IT IS YET INTO THE FUTURE. JESUS WILL CAUSE IT. JESUS IS GOD. JESUS BROUGHT ON THE FLOOD. JESUS BURRIED SODOM AND GOMMORAH. JESUS WILL BRING ALL THE TERROR DESCRIBED IN THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS. JESUS IS NOW BRINGING LITTLE DISASTERS TO THE WORLD. THESE DISASTERS WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY AND NUMBERS. JESUS LOVES MANKIND. HE WANTS MAN TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. ALL THESE SMALL DISASTERS ARE MERCIFUL WARNINGS. JESUS IS HOPING HE WONT HAVE TO BRING ON THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WHOLE WORLD. I AM NOT OPTIMISTIC ABOUT IT ALL.

My job sucks. I've got debt up to my eyeballs. The city wants to expropriate my house to make way for a new sports centre. The world seems to be always at war. It's leaders are really making a mess of things. And worst of all, it burns when I pee.

Y'know, if this Jesus person wants to bring it, I say go ahead and bring it and if there's anything left let the cockroaches have it.

This threat of destruction ain't no big threat when the end result is more welcome than the present situation. If you really want to use rhetorical crap to terrorize people into living their lives by your code than try telling them that Jesus is not gonna do a damn thing. It's all going to stay exactly as it is, for eternity. Now there's a scary piece of rhetoric.

THE PROBLEM, UBOB, IS THAT NO ONE BELEIVES GOD IS REAL.

I am sorry Marvin, but that is so wrong. Indeed, I beleive that even atheist believe god is real. They are just not honest or smart enough to understand.

Au Contraire. My God welcomes them all. If they are good and not condemning. He is a just and loving God. One that accepts frailities and mistakes - as long as the person acknowledges them and forgives them.

I am sorry your god is so mean. Jesus told us our god is not so vindictave.

Perhaps your god should listen to Jesus? just a thought. For All Christians and other CMs.

could you be any more arrogant and egotistical? what gives you the right to question my integrity and/or intelligence?

in any event, it isn't so much a matter of not believing in god as it is not believing marvin is his special envoy or deputy.

Dr Guy.............did god welcome them all in sodom? did god allow the world to go on in noah's day? and if you think jesus will not destroy much of the earth in the end time, you should read the book of revelations. that book was dictated by jesus christ. and jesus is god........at sodom, in noah's day and now.

In all honesty words like atheist and non-believer really don't mean anything to me. Atheist suggests the existence of that which you call god and non-believer suggest that there is something there to believe in and I simply choose not to, thus, both words, and all similar words, are a trap.

For me, there was and is nothing there. I live because I live. I feel because I feel. I think because I think. I am because I am. And when I die, I will cease to be. The same goes for everything around me.

That is what I believe. There was no choice for me, I simply believe the only thing that was there to believe. Atheist is really the wrong word for me. I'm simply me.

If you want to discuss your beliefs as opposed to mine we need to have a neutral framework in which to discuss. You have your theistic beliefs that rely on the given existence of a god. I have no such thing in my frame of existence. So to discuss it would be useless from within either framework.

I dont remember saying kingbee. Guess you might want to quote where I mentioned your name so I can either withdraw it or appologize for it? And if not, an appology from you is in order.

Jesus also said he was the new convenant. That is why there is a new Testamaent and an old one. Jesus shows God is a loving god, not a spiteful one. Better study your religion better.

Appology accepted.

From the book of Mod:

chapter six, verse eleven: let he who doth dwell in a house made from glass, cast no stones.

verse twelve: if thine enemy cast stone at thy glass house, thou shall put one in his forehead at point blank range.

I think he was using the generic "my", referring to the group of humans deemed by you to be "not honest or smart enough." I don't think he owes you an apology. Some honest and smart people might, just might, disagree with you.

I would disagree with me, but I think you missed the sarcasm (as did he).

So Marvin, how do you explain the church that was destroyed by the tornado in Indiana?

As do I still, even after re-reading that reply. But I'll take your word for it.
