Unloading DesktopX

Hello,

Is there a way to unload DesktopX from the keyboard.  Many new packagese I try have no way to click to unload it, and I end up getting stuck in DesktopX not knowing how to get back to my Windows GUI, so I have to log off or reboot as I don't have DesktopX set to run on startup.  How do I unload DesktopX from the keyboard so I don't get stuck?

I've also noticed that sometimes I can't edit various elements within a package.  Say a button is set to open a browser and I want it to open an email client instead, it seems there's no way to change it.  Obviously I'm very new to all this.

Thanks,

Gavyn

The problem is that when I'm in DesktopX I can't always see the systray and can't get back tot he Windows GUI to have access to it.  Is there no keyboard "escape" from a DTX environment?

desktopx themes usually either leave the taskbar/systray or if they hide it, then one is included in the theme.

In SDC tools, setting, general there is an enable mcp tray support that I believe need to be checked for the dtx systray in themes to work.

you can also create a systray object.

If you have no taskbar/systray in the theme, you can go into configure (possibly need to be in builder, not sure - not at home to pull it up) and uncheck hide the taskbar.

don't know of a keyboard option, but there may be one out there.

you can also right click the desktop and access desktopx sometimes, depends on the theme.

One of the themes i checked out last night had an empty systray until i went into builder and then properties on the tray and changed the offset to zero.
