Object Dock hides the windows taskbar

Hy!
I've got a problem as you can see.. One week ago I had a nice skin and the windows taskbar was hidden (I configured it in ObjectDock).. Now I've changed my skin and I want that the windows taskbar is visible.. so I configured it in ObjectDock.. But on startup the windows taskbar is hidden - I must open ObjectDock -> Dock settings, tick "hide windows taskbar" and then "untick" it one more time.. then the windows taskbar shows up But when ObjectDock doesn't boot at startup everything is normal!

I hope you understand because of my bad english.. Please help cause I must do that every startup!

Ezg3ta,

You can try this:

1 - Start ObjectDock and deselect the "Hide windows taskbar" option so that the taskbar shows, and then save your theme.

2 - Unload ObjectDock

3 - Go to "C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock" folder and delete the ObjectDock folder found in there.

Note - you may have to open My Computer > Tools menu > Folder Options > View tab > select "Show hidden files and folders" > click "Apply" - if you do not see the Local Settings folder listed above. This is called "clearing the cache", for a mini tutorial you can see here http://corkyo.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?SID=5463&AID=82461

4 - Start ObjectDock (it will start with the default settings, and the taskbar still be showing).

5 - Go to Dock Settings > General category > Load theme button > load your saved theme.

That should do it.

If the taskbar hides when ObjectDock loads with the default setting in #4, then it is improbable that the issue is caused by ObjectDock.

Oops, that should be "and the taskbar should still be showing".
