Objectdock freezes when I'm trying to change the icon. it only happens for my Steam though. some of the games work, but the others make Objectdock freeze when I press "Change Image."

I am not sure what is going on there.
If you have any games loaded, or programs that are heavy on video resources, while attempting to change the icon image - try unloading the programs while you set-up your dock theme.
If not, then you might try: "Save your theme > unload ObjectDock > clear the cache by deleting the ObjectDock cache folder (for a mini tutorial on this procedure, you can go here http://corkyo.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?SID=5463&AID=82461 > restart ObjectDock (it will load with the default settings) > use the "Dock Settings\General catagory\Load theme button" to load your theme > try changing the image (turn off magnification while changing the image) > save theme if successful.
If this does not work, and you have any docklets running, you might try using the "Temporarily disable docklets" option (found under "Dock Settings\General category\Advanced Options button\Troubleshooting section").
Do the programs in question function with the default icon?
I do not use (or have) Steam, or any other game oriented software on my docks, so may not be much help beyond the ObjectDock program.
