I made the 16 bit image for my bootscreen and I wrote the configeration data for my ini file. I made a folder to put my image and config data into the same folder. I loaded my screen into bootskin and it works!. I just have a few questions do I have make a progress bar to go along with my skin or can I keep my bootscreen the way it is without the progress bar?. Furthermore, do I have to edit any other system files or could I keep things the way they're?.

We unfortunately do not support user-created skins, themes, or bootscreens. You might want to repost your question in OS Customization if you do not get a somewhat timely response here.
Progress bars are not always used in bootscreens; no, you are not required to create one. You should not need to edit anything else.
