...she said: "I am leaving this legacy to all of you ... to bring peace, justice, equality, love and a fulfillment of what our lives should be. Without vision, the people will perish, and without courage and inspiration, dreams will die -- the dream of freedom and peace."

For sure a very sad day in history. Imagine the courage and determination Ms. Parks must have had to utter the words that equated into, "I'm not movin' ". What fear she must have had inside her as those actions and words came from her and yet she still had the courage to sit and not be moved. Think about Ms. Parks the next time you have something you fear and don't want to do or say and remember that if she survived in a time when her life could have been taken from her just for initating those defying actions, you too can survive and overcome.
