Firefox is conquering WinCustomize.com

Firefox, a free alternative browser, enjoys a roughly 9% overall market share on the net.  But here on WinCustomize.com, it has grown to over 25% of users now using it and rising.

So why is Firefox so popular here on WinCustomize.com?  Of the 22 million visitors last month, that means over 5 million of them were using Firefox.  Of course on the down-side, it's murdering our Alexa ranking (Alexa currently requires Internet Explorer). But that's a different story.

I use Mozilla, and am very happy to have a viable alternative to IE.

Maybe because of these statistics, WC can make this site more "firefox" friendly! Uploading photo's to my Photo Gallery isnt possible thru firefox, but rather internet explorer! Maybe they can look into making that feature available to firefox users?

I use firefox esp here at wc due to the fact that it runs faster and I get a better looking image also.
But I use my wc browser for doing uploads and IE for working in my website [when I do].
But like right now here at the forum I'm using the firefox and it works very well - better than IE.
I tend to like my WC browser the best tho - heheee

I think its obvious that one of the reasons there are a higher influx of Firefox users here is because its a customizable browser. However I use it as much for its customizability as well as its features.

I changed from Firefox to the latest Opera 8.5. Its completely ad-free now and its faster than Firefox on my system. Another reason for changing was the fact that Opera now deals with all Javascripts as does I.E.

Here's my reason for switching to Firefox:

It DOESN'T let Alexa through. Why? Because, even despite the benefits of Alexa, IT IS SPYWARE. It has been, and always will be, malicious to people's PCs.
