Running tasks and tray icons at the same time?

Am i getting something wrong or is it impossible to have the dock show the running tasks and the system tray icons at the same time? Whenever i check "show running tasks" "show system tray" gets unchecked and vice versa. Is this normal? If so that would be sad because I would like to use the dock as a replacement for the windows task bar.

You need the 'plus' version.

Actually, neither ObjectDock or ObjectDock Plus support the feature you're looking for. I was pretty disappointed about this myself. However, I just created two seperate docks and use one as a dedicated system tray. While this may not be ideal, it's the only thing I find that works and allows me to dismiss the taskbar.
