the page is easy. new shorcut, link would be the http addy.
beats me how to get it to enter login/pw. what about just using a mail checker docklet?

Not an elegant solution,, but you could use Opera. Set up the dock entry to open the page in Opera, and use the Wand tool to enter the username and password. Not quite a one click set up, but close......

Firefox also has a facility to automatically remember/enter username & passwords for a given web page so maybe that's an option?

Since Kona's not here....
I think IE will also remember usernames and passwords.

(Can't really remember...it's been a long time since I used it.)

it worked with firefox. told the page to remember login, told ff to remember pw. went into mail...copied addy into OD. close page. click icon...straight to mail.

IE will remember usernames and passwords - though the option to remember the username and password probably lies in the hosting e-mail page.

If you keep the cookie for that page after signing in and selecting the option to remember username and password (usually found in the sign-in/log-in dialog) - you should be able to just drag the page icon found in the web address field right onto your dock.

Note - just remember to manually delete cookies so you can keep the site cookie to preserve the settings.
