upgrading my computer

I'm just about to upgrade my computer from scratch. First thing to get is a case. Does anybody know about any good companies? The maximum price I'm willing to pay is $40.00.

Antec is what I use, though I think you will be paying a bit more than $40 (somewhere around $60+).

Liata mid towers are in your price range. You might find something you like. Link

Thanks for your help. I've found one that cost more than what I want, but I figure that if I'm going to put something in it that costs lots of money, that a very sturdy case would be a good idea. The kind I chose is Antec.

This is the one that I'm thinking of buying.

CompUSA (if you have one near you) usually carries cases of different kinds - or local computer hardware places too sometimes will. you'd be surprised. i paid about $80 for mine, it came w/ a power supply, side fan, and some lights on the front, along w/ a couple of front USB ports. i would of boughten online, but shipping to Alaska is just too ridiculous to pay - if you need a good guide, go to pcmech.com - they have a great step-by-step building guide, along with a list of what to have plus if you run into problem, their forums are great
